I was pleased to be a guest of honor at the pageant along with Miss Pennsylvania, Emily Wills. I co-emceed the pageant with Emily as well as performed. Please pick up a January 2007 issue of Elle Magazine to see me modeling Donna Karen’s Gold Collection.  The photo shoot was amazing and I really enjoyed meeting the wonderful crew of Elle at the shoot.  I was also delighted to be photographed with Miss Kentucky and Miss District of Columbia.  I hope you will enjoy our fashion photos.  I will write more about the experience when the article comes out.

Miss Twin Cities - Congratulations to Lindsay Pratt for a successful first pageant and to  Susan Casper for capturing the title of Miss Twin Cities 2007.  I was there to support all of our lovely young ladies competing for the first ever Miss Twin Cities title. I really enjoyed performing and speaking during the show. I hope you all enjoyed and it was great to see you all there, supporting our New York ladies and the Miss Twin Cities Organization.

New York Harvest Fest - I helped the Commissioner of Agriculture “cut the ribbon” and dedicate their new greenhouse that was funded by a grant from NYS. I participated in a variety of activities with the children all related to NY farms and farmers, agriculture and healthy eating.  Thank you Todd, Scott and the entire Block Institute for having me at your event!

I was chosen 52nd to pick my spot, LOL!  I am contestant #2 in the Sigma group which competes in interview on Wednesday Morning, Thursday Night Eveningwear and Swimsuit, Friday Night Talent and Saturday Night On-Stage Question.

I am quite happy with my spot.  I really don’t think the lottery could have worked out better for me.  Plus, being chosen last, it took all of the pressure out of choosing.  Watch out Vegas, here comes Miss New York!
