Theresa is representing New York this week in Hoopeston, IL.  She is New York’s Sweetheart representative in the National Sweetheart Pageant.  Good Luck, Theresa!  We know you will make us all proud.

I had a radio interview with 1010WINS because I was selected as 1 of 5 finalists in the Arts and Entertainment category for their Annual Tomorrow’s Newsmakers Awards Program. A panel of judges went through numerous candidates and made a selection of 5 finalists. The 5 nominees in each category receive a profile in the NY Post and 1010wins.com along with a pre-recorded interview that will run on 1010WINS. This is a prestigious nomination. Thank you so much 1010WINS for allowing me to be part of this event. I will inform you all as to when my spot will air and when the news article will be published. It will probably be the end of the week of 9/25. I will also be receiving a recording of my interview in a few weeks and will post it up for you all to listen! This was an awesome honor and event. Thank you Doug and Ernie.

Thank you Lisa and Nadine for having me at your pageant.  You are both truly wonderful and it was a pleasure to be there.  Also, thank you for the opportunity to see one of the most beautiful areas of New York State.  Jen - Thank you for being an awesome tour guide!  You rock girl!  Congratulations to Christina Joseph, the new Miss Greater Niagara!  Enjoy your year and soak in every moment.  Congratulations to the rest of the young ladies who competed.  You did an amazing job and you should all be proud.  Keep working hard and good luck in your quest to Miss New York.  To all the Rose Princesses - it was a pleasure to meet you all and good luck in all you do!  Thank you for your wonderful fundraising efforts.  Also, thank you to all the sponsors of the Miss Greater Niagara Pageant.  Without you, our program does not survive on a local, state or national level.  Your support is appreciated by all of us involved in the Miss New York State Scholarship Organization!

I had the pleasure of meeting Governor Pataki this evening and speaking to him about my involvement in the Miss America Organization as well as my platform “Teen Task Force - Helping Teens Help Themselves.” I also witnessed Governor Pataki and Assemblyman Joseph S. Saladino from the 12th Assembly District sign a bill. This was very exciting and quite fascinating.
